Within the framework of the workshop “Prospective Discussion about Passive Acoustic Monitoring of Marine Mammal for MSFD D1”, Alexander Schubert gave a talk and presented together with Karoline Hots a poster on “Effects of ship traffic on the distribution of harbour porpoise (Phocoena phocoena)” for VISSKA, a research project funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action.
Julika Voß presented our SPACEWHALE service and gave a talk on “SPACEWHALE: Using satellite imagery to survey whales in remote areas and thus to enhance conservation efforts”.
