Our Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Policy

BioConsult SH is committed to the consistent implementation and ongoing improvement of an integrated management system that gives equal consideration to quality, health, safety, and environmental aspects.

We regard excellent service quality, the protection of people and the environment, and the safety of our employees, clients, and partners as a central responsibility of our daily operations.

Quality management

BioConsult SH is committed to the highest quality standards in all areas of its services. Our actions are consistently aligned with the expectations and requirements of our clients. We understand quality as a central element of our corporate strategy and as a key contribution to long-term customer satisfaction. We place great importance on open, cooperative communication with our clients and rely on transparent processes.

Our employees form the foundation of our understanding of quality and are continuously trained and supported. Through their professional expertise, commitment, and sense of responsibility, we ensure a consistently high level of service quality. A key component of our work is the ongoing improvement of our processes, methods, and results. We view errors as opportunities for further development and work systematically to identify and eliminate their root causes.

Our quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001 serves as a binding framework and is regularly reviewed for its effectiveness. Compliance with legal, normative, and contractual requirements is a matter of course for us. Quality is not static but a dynamic process that we actively shape. Our managers bear responsibility for implementing and promoting our quality principles. At the same time, we expect a high level of quality awareness and shared responsibility from all employees.

We are certified according to DIN ISO 9001.

Health and safety at work

The health, safety, and well-being of our employees are an integral part of our business operations. As a responsible company, we consider it our duty to create a safe, healthy, and supportive work environment in which our employees can develop their skills and perform their duties with motivation and without risk. Our goal is to systematically prevent workplace accidents, work-related illnesses, and physical and mental stress. We achieve this through the ongoing identification and implementation of preventive measures and improvement of our processes.

Our integrated management system is based on recognized standards, particularly ISO 45001, and ensures that all relevant legal requirements are not only met but, where possible, further improved to meet our company’s specific needs. Risks are regularly assessed and minimized, and safety training and risk assessments are firmly embedded in our work processes.

We encourage our employees to actively participate in all matters related to occupational health and safety. Their experiences, ideas, and feedback are indispensable to us. Employee representatives, safety officers, and other regular dialogue forums support open communication and strengthen everyone’s safety awareness. We practice and uphold an open error culture as well as incident management that fosters a positive work culture. Every piece of feedback, every incident—whether a near-miss or an observation of unsafe conditions—is taken seriously, systematically analysed, and used to improve our safety measures.

Our employees receive all necessary training, occupational health care, and wellness services. In addition, we support their professional and personal development through targeted continuing education and training programs.

We are certified according to DIN ISO 45001.

As a modern service provider BioConsult SH is sensible of its environmental responsibility and commits to the protection of the environment, the climate, resource efficiency and the prevention of negative environmental impacts as well as to fulfil its compliance obligations.

The environmental management system is implemented to ensure an environmentally friendly and sustainable way of working as best as possible, to meet the needs of its employers, to improve its environmental performance as well as to mitigate the consequences of climate change.

This is done by considering sustainable and climate friendly work processes. Therefore, the environmental management system will be continuously improved.
