Ground-mounted solar farms

We support you in the environmentally friendly and legally compliant construction of your solar farm.

Concepts for an environmentally friendly solar farm

Solar photovoltaic (PV) panels are an important and efficient component of the energy transition. In addition to the installation of solar PV panels on buildings, ground-mounted solar farms are increasingly being erected.

When constructing a solar farm, care has to be taken to minimise the impact on biotopes and species.

Under certain circumstances, a solar farm can also lead to ecological enhancement of an area, e.g. by re-wetting peatland, increasing structural diversity or introducing extensive grazing.

This requires well thought-out concepts and measures. Minimising the impact on existing woodland to protect dormice, bats and breeding birds is just as important as taking amphibians into account when planning maintenance.

We can help you to design your solar farm in such a way that species protection is taken into account from the outset as part of species protection statements or joint consultation and coordination with project developers and authorities.
